My friend booked the beatles pod for us as a little getaway to de-stress from real life for a couple of days.
The location of the pods is absolutely beautiful and the views are stunning! However the pod itself is very garish and very overpriced with lack of storage! I know the whole design is to match the 60s era but just feel this could have been done in a much nicer and less garish way!
We were also a bit baffled by the price you charged us. It cost nearly £300 for us to stay for 2 nights with nothing but the pod included in that price as its self catering. We considered inviting another friend as the website said it sleeps 4 but as soon as you add another person (at time of booking) the price jumps up £28 for a third and/or fourth person. Surely it should be priced for 4 people already if you advertise it to sleep that many?! And then to charge a further £70 to use the tiny hot tub plus a further £7.50 if you need more wood for it! 🤦‍♀️
Don't get me wrong, the views and location made it worth it but it being seriously overpriced for what it was has put us off ever returning!
